It’s been 10 days since I landed in Calgary, and I landed with a resounding THUMP. And no, it was not the pilot’s fault, the actual landing of the plane was smooth as butter. It was the jetlag and the 1041 emails in my work inbox that knocked me down.
One of the more common questions people have asked is – you went on a knitting cruise. What did you knit?? To be fair, it wasn’t so much a knitting cruise as much as a staring out the window and watching the ocean move under me cruise. And I will do it again in a heartbeat – once my vacation fund recovers.
I did work on a shawl while I was out on the great wild ocean, and it’s off needles but not yet washed and blocked, which means it’s not quite looking its best. But Henrietta here, she is locked and loaded.
